Thorn Tree Safari – 5 Days
Day 1 – Tuesday: Aberdares National Park
Upon arrival in Nairobi, you’ll be transferred to the misty Aberdares (180 km). After lunch at Aberdare Country Club, continue to The Ark, where you can unwind as elephants, buffalos, and other wildlife gather at the lodge's waterhole, offering a unique close-up experience.
Overnight: The Ark
Meals: Lunch, Dinner
Day 2 – Wednesday: Lake Naivasha
Enjoy a scenic drive to Lake Naivasha (150 km), a serene freshwater lake in the Great Rift Valley. Upon arrival, relax at Muthu Lake Naivasha Country Club. For a closer encounter with the local wildlife, take an optional boat ride on the lake, where you may spot hippos and abundant birdlife such as fish eagles, and kingfishers (additional cost).

Day 3 – Thursday: Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, head to the world-famous Masai Mara (250 km), where you'll arrive in time for lunch at Keekorok Lodge. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive in search of the 'Big Five'—lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and buffalos—while enjoying the breathtaking landscapes of the Mara.

Day 4 – Friday: Masai Mara National Reserve
Begin the day with an early morning game drive, when the wildlife is most active. The Mara’s grasslands are home to iconic species like cheetahs, wildebeests, and giraffes. Optionally, take to the skies in a hot air balloon for a birds-eye view of the Mara, followed by a bush breakfast (additional cost, pre-booking required).

Day 5 – Saturday: Departure
After a final breakfast, journey back to Nairobi by road (270 km) or choose an optional flight from the Masai Mara for a quicker return. Reflect on your incredible safari memories before departure.
